Weight Loss Journey – Meal Plan & Exercise for Week 1 – Day 4

Breakfast (9:25am)week1day4

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup of baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup of raisins
  • 1 cup of mangoes
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 1/2 cup of oolong tea

For breakfast I kept it the same as what I had yesterday and I’ll keep doing until next week. I ran out of raisins and tuna so I’ll have to buy some more later today. I think I’m going to cut down the raisins again to 1/4 cup simply so I don’t use up so much in one week. It’s only been 4 days and I used up a 20 oz pack on breakfast only.

 

Exercise (1:50) & Lunch (3pm – 4:30pm)week1day4-tuna

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of delightful multi grain bread
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 stick of celelry
  • 1 boiled egg
  • 1 tbs of mayo
  • 1/4 cup of honey roasted cashews

Breakfast started out great but after that everything went downhill which resulted in me eating lunch very late. I was thrown off because I usually workout while my mom is asleep (I like my privacy I don’t like to be watched while I workout) but she stayed around until around 1pm. So I ended up doing my 3 mile while walk with Leslie Sansone late.  When I finished I immediately had to shower and pickup my niece from school on my way there I found out I didn’t have to pick her up so I stopped by Wegmans to re-up my groceries. I wanted a extra reward snack for the weekend so I bought some honey roasted cashews. I almost purchased a can of corn beef because I love cooking it with rice, potatoes and onions but the calories were way too high. The can was 6 servings and 1 serving was almost 200 calories on a normal day outside of this I would have ate the whole can in one day. It also was too expensive $5.99 for something so unhealthy which is why I opted for the cashews $6.99 but way healthier than the corn beef.

This morning I asked my mom to get some strawberries and tuna for me because I was out of both and I had to get my niece ready for school. She came back with strawberries and 2 cans of tuna in vegetable oil. This kind of threw me off because I don’t eat anything with vegetable oil in it intentionally. I was conflicted and angry about whether or not I should eat it or return it. In the end I chose to eat it because I only have 3 more days of this week 1 left and 1 more can of tuna. The last 2 days of week 1 I will most likely eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Dinner (10pm)week1day4-chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of Jasmine Rice
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1 whole onion
  • 1 whole chicken breast

I failed miserably with dinner. I was binge watching Bleach and playing spades on facebook. I completely forgot to eat and ended up eating late. When I did finally eat, I couldn’t finish my food. I had about 3 or 4 pieces of chicken left and a little rice and I just couldn’t eat it. Hopefully tomorrow will be better because it’s weigh in day!

Calorie goal was met today I stayed under 1350 calories.

Drinks

I had 3 bottles of 16.9 oz Aquafina
